Visperterminen
Viticulture is deeply rooted in Visperterminen and has a long tradition.
Heida is the Valais name for the white wine made from the Savagnin grape. The vineyards of Visperterminen rise on short terraces with heat-retaining dry stone walls to over 1,100 meters above sea level, making them the highest vineyards in Europe.
Anyone interested in wine and wine culture will find themselves right at home with us. We would be delighted to guide you through our vineyards and invite you to enjoy a glass of wine, along with Hobelkäse cheese and rye bread, in our Johanneli-Fi wine cellar.
Those who want to "ambrüf", to go higher, can start one of the hikes with fantastic views of the shining four-thousand-meter peaks of the Valais and Bernese Alps or spend a day enjoying winter sports at the Giw chairlift mountain station at 2,000 m above sea level.
